Working in tandem with the Architectural and the Technical teams, Mini Theaters India has been instrumental in designing and customising the acoustics of The Prime Ministers’ Museum that makes it the first Museum with controlled reverberations (echo), making it ‘Sound Safe’, also taking into consideration the aesthetics of the space.
The Prime Ministers’ Museum or The Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya is a museum that celebrates all former Prime Ministers, was inaugurated on April 14, 2022, by the PM Shri Narendra Modi, and boasts of being the first ‘Sound Safe’ Museum in the country. Located in the Teen Murti Estate, New Delhi, it is spread over a total area of 15,600 square meters.There are 43 galleries in the Museum. It has displays that show the lives and tenures of former Prime Ministers. The Sangrahalaya offers light and sound shows along with interactive experiences like holograms, virtual reality, augmented reality and more.
Since 1991, Mini Theaters India has gained immense world wide recognition and spectacular growth in 5 countries, 12 states and many cities with over 700 well articulated and technically perfect projects and is growing.
M.A.P.S ( Modular Acoustic Panel System )
This is one of the inventions by Dr. Himanshu Kumar, which not only allows any design pattern that can be thought by a designer but also allows ease of services that run behind the acoustic panels. MAPS, today is being used by many of his students around the world.
C.S.A ( Controlled Sound Absorption )
Another invention by Dr. Himanshu Kumar, which makes sure that all the frequencies , specially the high notes, reach the last row of audience and are not absorbed on their way due to random use of thick and dense absorbing material.
